A self-balancing car was recently banned from driving in the San Antonio area after an escort found herself on the run, the Associated Press reports.
The car was equipped with a camera that captured the GPS coordinates of the escort’s vehicle, but the operator could not remove the GPS antenna that kept the car on the road.
The escort was in a taxi when the camera caught the GPS coordinate, and she alerted the driver to the problem.
He was able to stop the car in the middle of the street, but then the driver found out the GPS had been stolen and took the camera with him.
The escorts’ car was then towed away, and the driver told the AP that he plans to return to the same spot to retrieve the GPS, and to file a complaint with the San Diego Police Department.
The owner of the car is also a member of a local escort.
